Testimonials

"When I want creative ideas, superb photos and exceptional service, I use my speed dial to call my favorite gorillas, Mitch Kloorfain and Wendy Dwyer. Whether it’s for Core Communities, the Town of Tradition or any one of the many non-profit organizations and charities with which I’m affiliated, this dynamic duo always comes through in an amazing way.

Mitch’s wizardry behind the lens and Wendy’s magical way with words makes this team unbeatable and unstoppable! The fact that they are a pleasure to work with is just icing on the cake. They are dedicated professionals who understand and respect the meaning of the word ‘deadline’ and their sense of humor and imagination makes every project they work on unique, fun and highly successful. If you want remarkable results at a reasonable price, trust me – it’s time to go gorilla!"
Jane Rowley, Director of Community Relations Core Communities, Town of Tradition

"I really cannot say enough about how you guys have helped grow my business and my foundation! Mitch and Wendy, you make a great team and anyone would be a fool to not appreciate a little Gorilla Magic! Thanks for everything!"
Scott Van Duzer, Owner - Big Apple Pizza

"What an extraordinary pair!!! Their imagination, creativity and unique style not only set them apart, but make the publicity they create unmatched. In today's busy, hustle-bustle world it takes not only imagination but eye-catching graphics to capture attention and get the point across--they can do it all. I am so lucky to have them as part of my team!"
Diamond Litty, Public Defender, 19th Judicial Circuit

"You're my heroes and my favorite gorillas!"

"Wendy and Mitch have the creative ability to look at your individual business needs and develop marketing that you can use now! I needed a business flyer that would be catchy, and inspire people to call. The ones I found were were "dry and boring". Wendy and Mitch designed flyers that far exceeded my expectations.

I'm ready to take their 'Gorilla' Marketing for Small Business workshop to learn how to do everything from take the photographs that will actually make it to the newspaper, to writing the perfect press release.

"This is not your typical marketing duo. Why? Because they evaluate you and your specific situation or cause with a positive and open mind to give you the best product. If needed, they tell you why not do it another way, they don't just encourage you to take the 'feel good' way or proceed according to the typical norm.

Mitch and Wendy have been at the forefront in the community for years. When it comes to keeping people connected to the situations and needs of the community, they are there to empower you as a citizen and as a person. Together and separately they work to showcase and empower you to always do your best, either by world-class photography or exceptional writing. I feel they are truly positive motivators for you and your business. Thank you for considering them for your marketing needs."
Paul Hiott, St. Lucie County former Director of Veterans Affairs, candidate for St. Lucie County Commission

"You put the pep in people's step when in comes to making marketing something that's not boring and painful. You approach it with a (sometimes warped) sense of humor, because if you have fun with it, so will the people you're addressing.

You break out of that classical box of tricks and hit the refresh button...more than once if needed. With Gorilla Marketing you throw people for a loop and slap them with the unexpected - that's what makes marketing less of a dread - kinda like going to shop for a car.

You know how you have the sales people hovering around like jackals waiting to attack their prey? As a shopper, you dread them coming over to you...with that cheesy grin...that even cheesier opening line...and then the pressure at the end to close the deal. TOTALLY PREDICTABLE!

IF only they used the Gorilla Marketing approach, so eloquently taught by the Mitch and Wendy (Mutt & Jeff) team, people would drive off the lot in their new ride, cracking up laughing all the way home. People need to realize that business has changed - with economics the way they are now, you better put on your A-Game to appeal to the cautious consumer. The Gorilla Team gave me a wake-up call in that respect - thanks guys...I needed that."

"Wendy's creativity goes above and beyond the typical (and boring) fund raising ideas and simple ad writing. She helped my Media Club students create one of the most successful fund raisers ever done by any club at our local college. I know whenever I need a creative idea or fund raising tip, Wendy is the one and only person I ever call. If you don't use her creative talents, you'll never achieve the optimum results you hope to get."
Melanie Arnold, Adjunct, Communications and Media Arts Tompkins Cortland Community College, New York

Wendy and Mitch are full of good ideas. Just turn them upside down and shake them. Out they tumble! Over several years they have both contributed to Heathcote Botanical Gardens in many ways – the brochure, the impetus for the very successful “au Naturel” event, and as a sounding board for many things. Their photos are great, too! Just be prepared to get in the pool with your clothes on, hang by your knees from a tree, or hide partially clothed among the ferns. Nothing is too outlandish or impossible for this creative duo. And people do what they suggest. I'm not sure if they like doing it at the time; but one thing’s for sure - they like the results.
